The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. We offer competitive wages and exciting company resources.Responsibilities:Supervise and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesAnswer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closedInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceOversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards and desk clerks.Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and related safety and security topics.Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Supervise for irregular or unusual activityQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentMust have a valid Security Guard LicenseMust have 2 years of experience as a security officer or supervisory experienceMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedulesMust have reliable transportationMust have good communications skillsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periodsMust be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behaviorCertification Requirements:Unarmed Security LicenseEducation Requirements:High School DiplomaAdditional Information / Benefits:Paid Holidays401K/403b PlanBenefit offerings vary based on contract/roleShort Term DisabilityDental InsurancePaid VacationLong Term DisabilityPaid Sick DaysVision InsuranceMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceThe following screenings are required:Criminal Background CheckEmployment ReferencesDrug ScreenThe following shifts are available:Day shiftWeekend shift
