Specialty/ Senior Specialty Representative - Dermatology - Roanoke, VA

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for its Roanoke, VA dermatology territory. The role involves promoting Amgen's pharmaceutical products to medical professionals, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while providing clinical expertise and navigating reimbursement complexities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and manage product access
• Analyze sales activities and territory performance; develop territory plans in partnership with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain focus on patient impact throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior role: Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years sales or healthcare/scientific experience
• Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of specialty therapeutic areas including dermatology, oncology, or inflammation
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and build customer relationships
• Adaptability with core competencies: planning, business knowledge, impactful communication, driving results
