Retail Development Coordinator

Our client, a media entertainment company, is looking for a Retail Development Coordinator to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in NYC. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 3 years in the licensing industry and 2 years working directly with retail platforms.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 6 months
• Pay: $29.61/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Partner with management to execute Amazon retail strategies, develop cross-portfolio initiatives, and support franchise-specific programs, seasonal campaigns, and content launches.
• Collaborate with licensees to manage product information (ASIN setup, listings, availability), maintain comprehensive trackers and sales reports, and assist with Amazon Brand Registry onboarding.
• Work closely with internal teams (Retail Marketing, Licensing, Franchise, Data Analytics, Creative) and external partners to align on campaign timelines, assets, and execution.
• Coordinate retail marketing programs, asset submissions, and promotional details while helping prepare business recaps, retailer presentations, and strategy materials.
• Conduct marketplace and competitive research on consumer and product trends while providing general administrative and project management support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) along with 2-3 years in the licensing industry and 1-2 years working directly with Amazon Retail platforms (Vendor Central, Seller Central, etc.).
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to build collaborative working relationships across internal and external teams.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote) and comfort working with data.
• A keen interest in entertainment, pop culture, and consumer products, paired with resourcefulness in identifying emerging retail and market trends.
