The Gardens of Statesville Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a reliable and motivated culinary professional to join our team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portioning guidelines, and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, seasoning, and plating
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to the appropriate team members
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Support special menu items, daily specials, and dietary requests as directed

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional attitude
