Office Manager - Heavy Duty Truck Shop
We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager to join our dynamic team at a busy heavy-duty truck shop. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily operations, assist with administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our business. The ideal candidate will be versatile, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily office tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping
- Assist with inputting bills and managing financial documentation
- Support ecommerce website operations, including product updates and order processing
- Make sales calls as needed to generate new business and maintain client relationships
- Help manage the owner and director’s overflow tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors for parts and supplies
- Assist with other miscellaneous administrative duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
- Familiarity with ecommerce websites and online sales platforms
- Knowledge of CDK or similar dealership management software is a significant plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to make sales calls or run errands as needed
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly and handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Basic understanding of financial processes, including bill input and invoicing
