Field Marketing Specialist Pei Wei Asian Kitchen / West Coast Capital Hours: Full-Time; 8-hour shift, M-F Dallas, TX * Houston, TX * Phoenix, AZ * South Florida Position Overview Marketing doesn't happen from behind a desk- it happens in our restaurants and out in our communities. We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and entrepreneurial Field Marketing Specialist to serve as the face of Pei Wei within their assigned market. This role is responsible for driving sales and building brand awareness by creating local marketing plans, developing community partnerships, supporting restaurants, generating catering opportunities, and finding creative ways to introduce more guests to Pei Wei. You'll spend the majority of your time in the field- visiting restaurants, meeting local businesses, attending community events, building relationships, creating social content, and identifying opportunities that grow traffic. Responsibilities Serve as the local marketing expert for your assigned market, identifying opportunities to increase traffic, awareness, and sales Develop and execute annual and quarterly local store marketing plans tailored to each restaurant Spend the majority of your time in restaurants and the community building relationships with local businesses, schools, organizations, hotels, hospitals, and community partners Execute grassroots marketing initiatives including sampling/selling events, business outreach, sponsorships, partnerships, and community events Generate catering leads and support restaurants in growing their catering business Support new restaurant openings, remodel celebrations, menu launches, and promotional activations Work alongside restaurant leadership teams to identify local opportunities and execute marketing initiatives that drive measurable results Create engaging social media content while capturing authentic stories from restaurants, team members, and guests Build relationships with local influencers, media outlets, and community organizations to increase brand awareness Stay informed on local market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities that could impact restaurant performance Track marketing activities and measure results including traffic, sales, catering growth, and return on investment Represent the Pei Wei brand with enthusiasm while ensuring all marketing activities reflect company standards and brand values Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred 0-3 years of experience in field marketing, local store marketing, community marketing, restaurant marketing, retail marketing, or a related role Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant or retail brands is a plus What Makes You Successful Naturally outgoing and comfortable meeting new people Self-starter who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of a market Creative thinker who can identify opportunities others might miss Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable creating social media content and representing the brand publicly Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure results and adjust strategies Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences Additional Requirements Ability to travel frequently throughout your assigned market (approximately 70-80%).
