Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with skilled home health experience for a 13-week home health contract in the West Portland, OR area.

Details

• Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated)
• Up to 6 patient visits per day at a 1:1 ratio, with a standard of 30 productivity points per day
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Charting is performed using Epic Remote Client (laptop) and Rover (mobile app), along with OASIS documentation
• Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
• Daily driving radius of up to approximately 60 miles, with a maximum total drive time of roughly 60–90 minutes per day

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health physical therapy experience required
• Active Oregon PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• OASIS experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• COVID-19 primary vaccination series plus one booster required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of home health patients across West Portland and surrounding areas
• The system groups clients geographically to minimize drive and windshield time
• Business casual attire required; scrubs are permitted in any color, but jeans are not allowed
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same pay rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the submitting facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is preferred; any requested time off should be communicated upfront
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
