Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - IV therapy skills required, including blood product administration, central line care, and phlebotomy - Experience with cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias - Ability to perform emergency care including adult and pediatric cases, trauma, and isolation precautions Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency care. The nurse will work night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. Charting will be done using EPIC, and experience with this system is mandatory. Nurses must be prepared to handle a patient ratio of 1:5. Floating may be required within the skillset. The nurse will manage various types of emergency diagnoses for adults and geriatrics. Emergency procedures will include triage, vent management, and handling trauma cases. Nurses must be willing to work every other holiday if needed. Strong clinical skills in IV therapies, emergency medications, and patient monitoring are essential. Compliance with safety protocols and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams is expected. The facility operates 24/7 and focuses on rapid patient care with advanced diagnostic technologies.
