Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: Mid 3x12-Hour (13:00 - 01:00)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• License: GA or Compact license required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Patient Ratio Experience: 4

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department.
• Assess and stabilize patients with various medical conditions from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic health records.
• Manage critical situations effectively and ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.

Compliance / Notes:

• Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
• A maximum of 7 days RTO allowed, finalized at the time of submission.
• Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
