Accounting Manager

We are seeking a strong Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join a growing, multi-entity, multi-location organization in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a hands-on accounting role with broad exposure across the business and an opportunity to continue taking on additional responsibility as the organization grows. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the accounting team across day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and other key accounting functions. For the right person, this position offers a clear path to grow into a Controller role within approximately two years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and manage the month-end close process across multiple entities Prepare and review account reconciliations and journal entries Support financial statement preparation and reporting Maintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple entities and locations Assist with accounting processes, controls, and process improvements Support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure deadlines are met Work closely with the CFO on accounting and reporting initiatives Assist with developing and mentoring members of the accounting team Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the organization continues to grow

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and month-end close Experience working in a multi-entity and/or multi-location environment preferred Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Senior Accountants ready to take the next step in their career are encouraged to apply

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote Scottsdale, Arizona Reports directly to the CFO Opportunity to grow into a Controller role within approximately two years This is a confidential search.
