Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing) Lead the development and articulation of the division’s overarching strategy, identifying growth opportunities and aligning initiatives with enterprise objectives. Partner with divisional and enterprise leadership to translate strategic vision into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and business impact. Drive the evaluation, development, and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other corporate development initiatives. Define and refine M&A priorities, assess potential opportunities, and maintain a strategically aligned pipeline of prospective investments and acquisitions. Guide the evolution of the organization’s external platform partnership portfolio, unlocking new opportunities for growth and strengthening ecosystem relationships. Build and scale a proactive business development capability, establishing repeatable processes for opportunity identification, sourcing, and engagement. Lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives that require coordination across multiple operational functions and stakeholders. Provide leadership, coaching, and prioritization for a team that includes senior leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Qualifications (What We’re Looking For) 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, strategy consulting, or a related field. Deep understanding of media and technology ecosystems, with a strong interest in the evolving publisher landscape and emerging market trends. Proven strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable business strategies. Significant experience supporting corporate development activities, including developing M&A theses, evaluating opportunities, and participating in transaction processes. Demonstrated success leading large-scale strategic initiatives from concept through execution in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment among senior executives and external partners. Proven leadership experience developing high-performing teams and mentoring senior-level talent. Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This position is based in New York City and requires in-office attendance four days per week. This role is also eligible for bonus and/or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
