You will interface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors, and suppliers throughout the life of the project.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, develop, and test embedded firmwareDeveloping firmware for UPS / Inverter / Power conversion productsEmbedded GUI developmentFull lifecycle application developmentSoftware testing and quality assurance.Participate in design reviews, software process development activitiesIntegrate software with existing systems.Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.Work closely with hardware engineers for end-to-end integration and debugging of productsKnowledge and SkillsExperience in developing firmware for UPS / Inverter / Power conversion productsPFC / Inverter digital control implementation, state machine design and implementation.Experience in architecting embedded software for Online UPS with state-machine solid programming experience in C or C++.Experience with RTOS, such as FreeRTOSExperience in Linux driver development would be a plus pointHands-on experience with communication protocols and network monitoring solution like SNMP, MODBUS, SPI, UART, I2C, RS232, RS485, CAN etcWorked with USB host and device function drivers, resistive/capacitive touch screen, ADCs and DACs, Graphical LCD display, NAND flash driver, touch screen driver and bootloader.Experience in Linux device driver/BSP and application developmentKnowledge of electronics and building new hardware or customizing existing hardwareExperience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targetsExperience in embedded systems design with real-time operating systemsFamiliar with a variety of 8- to 32-bit microprocessors and microcontrollers from manufacturers such as Freescale, NXP, ST, TI etc.Experience using in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes etcQualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent subject.Experience:8+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.MustsMust have one of these DSP/microcontrollers: TMS320 OR C2000 OR C5000 OR F2802x OR F2806x OR F28004x OR F2803x OR F2837x OR F28002x OR C6000Must have inverter experience.Embedded C dev.I2C, SPI, CANBUSRTOS but also because it's UPS some experience with
