Assistant Professor of Music

Job Description The Department of Fine Arts is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Professor of Music to serve as a tenure-track, nine-month faculty member in music with significant experience performing and teaching trumpet and horn. The successful candidate will teach an equivalent of 12 hours in applied lessons, methods classes, and lectures. Candidates are expected to recruit, prepare trumpet and horn students for recitals and juries, advise students, engage in departmental, university, and community partnerships, and pursue scholarly research and funding opportunities.
