Practice Leader- Technical Accounting

Our client is a private equity-focused financial and technology consulting firm. They seek a Practice Leader, Technical Accounting to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on complex accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, purchase accounting, debt modifications, stock-based comp)Design and implement efficient processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, close optimization) and technology solutions (ERP, AI)Manage multi-workstream engagements, lead teams (VPs, Associates, Analysts), and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables for C-suite and PE sponsorsDraft technical accounting memos, audit workpapers, financial statement disclosures, and process documentationBuild strong relationships with CFOs and PE sponsors, understanding their unique needs and driving strategic valueSupport internal initiatives and identify new opportunities to grow the practiceRequirements15-25 years of technical accounting advisory experiencePublic or combo experienceExperience working with PE-backed companies is preferredDetail-oriented and highly analyticalExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCPA requiredJob ID # 47744Tagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on January 15, 2026Location:New York, NY 10017, USAJob Title:Practice Leader- Technical AccountingSalary:$200,000 - $400,000
