Overview North End Community Ministry (NECM) is a growing non-profit organization that provides direly needed food through its ‘Client Choice’ Food Pantry for people in need of immediate hunger relief and address the root causes of poverty. A variety of Programs and Services for our neighbors in NE Grand Rapids are offered to equip people with needed skills to improve their quality of life. For over 55 years, NECM has served as a ‘lighthouse of hope’ to some of our most vulnerable neighbors in need and is vital to the community as it serves as a safety net that strengthens public health and supports the local economy. Job Responsibilities Administration Operations Surveillance of the ministry Teamwork Positive Communications Volunteer Support Public Relations Community Engagement Fundraising Board & Governance Support Experience At least 5 years of working experience with a non-profit, such as a food pantry or outreach ministry Leadership Proven skill in managing people and projects Communication Strong Speaking and Writing Skills Tech Skills Good knowledge of office software, databases and social media Education College Degree Highly Recommended Location Grand Rapids, MI Reports to Executive Director Pay Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr North End Community Ministry
