CNC Machinist

2nd Shift CNC MachinistThe CNC Machinist plays a critical role in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components vital for hydraulic and power systems. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in blueprint reading, and the capability to ensure both quality and efficiency within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, or machining centers.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments at the machine.Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and throughput.Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.Troubleshoot minor machining or tooling issues.Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.Document production activity and quality checks as required.Essential Skills:1–3+ years of CNC machining experience with lathes and mills (set-up experience preferred for higher-level roles).Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar CNC controls.Experience using standard inspection tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in a high-volume or precision manufacturing environment.Prior exposure to hydraulics or metal machining.Why Work Here?Enjoy three weeks of Paid Time Off annually as a newly hired employee, along with 13 paid holidays, including floating holidays.
