Job SummaryTo manage product responsibilities including: purchasing, quoting, expediting, de-expeditingand tactical supply chain management.Job DescriptionCorporate Buyer I / Buyer II (Hybrid)Location: Southfield, MISchedule: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (mandatory)Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 base salary + annual bonus incentivePosition SummaryWe are seeking a Corporate Buyer (level I or II) to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for executing purchasing activities, supporting contract management, and ensuring materials are sourced, scheduled, and delivered in alignment with inventory and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience, supplier management capabilities, and a working understanding of global supply chains.Key ResponsibilitiesQuote and support sales contracts in coordination with internal stakeholdersConvert purchase requisitions into purchase orders within the ERP systemManage standard inventory items and maintain accurate system dataCoordinate supply schedules to meet inventory and operational targetsProcess return purchase orders and manage associated credits/debitsMaintain supplier records including pricing, lead times, and capabilitiesEstablish and maintain strong supplier relationships (inside and outside sales contacts)Prepare and support supplier performance reviewsSupport purchasing activities related to contractual agreements; assess risk and evaluate alternatives with regional teamsContribute to tactical negotiations in coordination with Product Managers and supply base managementDevelop a working understanding of the global supply base and internal processing capabilitiesEnsure effective communication with internal customers and suppliersMaintain compliance with corporate purchasing systems, policies, and proceduresDemonstrate alignment with company competencies and performance expectationsQualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldGeneral understanding of company policies, procedures, and purchasing systemsAbility to maintain accurate records, documentation, and filesWorking knowledge of supplier capabilities and production processes (mills preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and suppliersPreferred Qualifications3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experienceExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems and inventory planning processesExposure to global sourcing and supplier managementWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with bonus opportunityHybrid work model with consistent in-office collaborationExposure to global supply chain operationsOpportunity to grow within a structured procurement organizationAmazing Benefits and PTO2 Days Mandatory (T/W) onsiteJob Compensation$65K - $75K + Annual Bonus IncentiveBenefits OverviewWe offer competitive company benefits to eligible positions, such as:Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and DisabilityVoluntary Wellness Programs401(k) or RRSP programs with Company MatchPaid Vacation and HolidaysTuition ReimbursementAnd more!Benefits may vary based on job, country, union role, and/or company segment.
