TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26505!

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, nights (weekdays and weekends). Unit will accommodate schedule requests when possible but cannot guarantee specific days off.

Highlights:

• 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit serving a diverse patient population with complex care needs
• Patient ratios: 1:5-7
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• Cerner EMR charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Collaborative team environment balancing experienced and novice staff members focused on evidence-based practice

Requirements:

• Active RN License: West Virginia or Compact state license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (must be American Heart Association certified)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Strong attendance record required – facility enforces attendance standards with maximum 2-3 call-offs per contract
