Schedule: Night shift, 19:00-07:30, either 3x12 or 4x12 schedule with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license required; pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – all American Heart Association (AHA) certified
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility location
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Experience with telemetry and medical/surgical patient populations
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system preferred

Key Skills:

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration and central line management
• IV therapy including starting and maintaining peripheral lines and PICC line management
• Management of high-acuity medical patients including CVA, renal failure, and cardiac conditions
• Wound care and specialty equipment experience (chest tubes, feeding tubes, tracheostomy care)
• Oxygen therapy including high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP management
