Job Title – Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Duration – 13 Weeks (07/06/2026 onward)
Shift – Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Rotation – 40 hours/week
Float – Yes, within Endoscopy units as needed
Call Requirement – Yes (1–2 late shifts/week for cases running past scheduled end time)

Job Description
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy responsible for providing pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care in a high-acuity digestive disease procedural setting. The RN will assist with endoscopic procedures, administer and monitor conscious sedation, support recovery care, and ensure patient safety throughout all phases of care.

Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy RN experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Experience with conscious sedation, admission, procedure, and recovery required
Experience with Cerner charting preferred
Strong telemetry and procedural monitoring skills preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced endoscopy environment

Procedural Experience Required – Colonoscopy, EGD, specimen handling/labeling, conscious sedation administration/monitoring, IV starts/maintenance, opioid/reversal agent administration, recovery care, and pre/post procedural nursing. Preferred: EUS, ERCP, esophageal manometry, anorectal manometry, pH studies, paracentesis, and telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation.
