We're currently seeking an inspiring and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at The Bainbridge Companies. As an experienced Leasing Specialist, you’ll tailor the leasing experience to each guest, closing leases while providing best-in-class customer service to current residents. Qualifications- Required: Previous onsite apartment leasing experience (OneSite experience is required)
- Strong sales, leasing, and closing skills with a proven ability to meet leasing goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of prospects and residents
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software, including OneSite (required) , and Knock
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license may be required
- Welcome and Tour Prospects: Greet every prospect with enthusiasm, identify their needs, and provide engaging tours that showcase the community, amenities, and apartment homes while delivering an exceptional first impression.
- Manage the Leasing Process: Guide prospects through every step of the leasing journey, including qualifying applicants, preparing lease documents, processing applications, completing credit and background screenings, and ensuring a seamless move-in experience.
- Marketing & Outreach: Execute community marketing initiatives through social media, outreach events, resident referrals, local partnerships, and digital campaigns to generate qualified traffic and increase occupancy.
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents by responding promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and service requests while creating a welcoming community atmosphere.
- Prospect Follow-Up: Maintain consistent communication with prospects through phone calls, emails, and follow-up campaigns to maximize lead conversion and leasing success.
- Resident Retention: Support lease renewal efforts by building strong resident relationships, addressing concerns, and promoting resident satisfaction to encourage lease renewals.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain accurate resident files, update OneSite and other property management systems, prepare reports, process rental payments, and ensure all leasing documentation is complete and compliant.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team to achieve occupancy, resident satisfaction, and community performance goals while maintaining company standards and policies.

Education
- A High School education or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to fluently read and write English.
- Accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use all on-site resident management software functions.
Professional Experience
- No specific previous experience is required.
Attendance/Travel
- Ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Our property staffing limitation makes it critical for you to work your scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime if necessary when requested.
- Ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary.
- Ability to travel to attend various company gatherings either in the general vicinity of your home, property, or in another state.
Licenses/Equipment
- A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are required; the position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of the job’s functions.
