Cardiology Physician Assistant

Our client, a nationally recognized academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system known for excellence in complex cardiac care, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA), Structural Heart . Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with structural heart conditions.
• Assist in evaluating patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and post-procedure follow-ups.
• Participate in pre- and post-procedure assessments and follow established protocols for patient management.
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary team by providing expert support in catheterizations, procedures, and patient education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in New York State.
• NCCPA certification.
• Candidates with cardiology or interventional cardiology experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply, with training provided.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between affiliated facilities as needed.
