Prep Cook Role The Prep Cook role is responsible for preparing fresh, flavorful, wellness-forward food that reflects LYFE Kitchen’s commitment to uncompromising hospitality, quality, and care. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and assemble menu items according to LYFE Kitchen standards Maintain food safety, sanitation, and organization at all times Support opening, peak service and closing duties Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH teams Core Expectations Hospitality: Support the guest experience through cleanliness, quality, and reliability Sense of Urgency: Maintain pace with service demands while staying focused and accurate Health & Wellness: Uphold strict sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards Teamwork: Provide dependable support to all team members and contribute to a positive culture Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen or dining environment Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions Food service certified within 30 days of hire Minimum age requirement of 17 years old Equal Opportunity & Accommodations LYFE Kitchen is an equal opportunity employer.
