\nOverview \n
\n
\nWe are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to provide high-quality care in one of three flexible practice models: \n
\n
\n-Hospitalist: Focused on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including emergency response, deliveries, and surgical interventions. \n
\n-Clinic-Based: Outpatient OB/GYN services with a focus on preventive care, routine checkups, and long-term patient relationships. \n
\n-Hybrid Role: A combination of both hospital and clinic-based responsibilities. \n
\n
\nResponsibilities (Varies Based on Role Chosen) \n
\n
\nFor Hospitalists: \n
\n-Provide in-house coverage for unassigned or emergent obstetric patients, including evaluation, treatment, admission, and ongoing inpatient management. \n
\n-Respond to OB and GYN emergency cases, including walk-in patients, triage calls, and consults within the Emergency Department and throughout the hospital. \n
\n-Perform surgical interventions as needed for unassigned gynecologic emergencies and provide surgical assistance to attending OB/GYNs upon request. \n
\n
\nFor Clinic-Based Physicians: \n
\n-Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, routine exams, and family planning services. \n
\n-Manage gynecologic conditions in an office-based setting with access to in-office procedures and diagnostics. \n
\n-Develop long-term patient relationships and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team. \n
\n
\nFor Hybrid Physicians: \n
\n-Balance inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to ensure continuity of care across both settings. \n
\n-Split time between labor and delivery coverage, surgical cases, and outpatient clinic visits based on preferences and organizational needs. \n
\n
\nCredentials \n
\n-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. \n
\n-Eligible for Delaware medical licensure. \n
\n-Strong commitment to team-based medicine and patient-centered care. \n
\n
\nEducation \n
\nMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. \n
\n
