Key Responsibilities
- Boat Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to build hulls, decks, cabins, and bulkheads.
- Installation: Fit and align parts precisely using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Quality & Safety: Perform regular quality checks for defects, follow strict safety (PPE) guidelines, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and fellow assemblers to hit production deadlines.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED (or 1+ years of related manufacturing/assembly experience).
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge and good verbal/written reading comprehension.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate a non-climate-controlled shop floor environment with exposure to fiberglass dust, resins, and chemicals.
