Automotive Technician***SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR TECHNICIANS WITH CERTIFICATIONS***Eddy's Lincoln is searching for Automotive Technicians to join our team. The right candidate will have a service technician background with over 2 years of experience. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.ResponsibilitiesCarry out repairs and services listed on work orders with accuracy and within dealership guidelines.Perform regular vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.Operate diagnostic equipment and take vehicles on test drives to identify issues in systems and components.Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and testing to determine the root cause of problems.Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, electrical, and climate control.Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate findings, recommend additional work when necessary, and provide time estimates for completion.Complete warranty-related repairs according to manufacturer standards and requirements.QualificationsPossess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.Ability to successfully complete a background screening.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Eagerness to develop skills and stay current with new technologies.What We OfferComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer match.Competitive pay structure.Career growth and promotion opportunities.Access to Ford’s STST1 certification program, designed for new technicians.
