• The Dean of Students establishes a structured, disciplined, and supportive school culture aligned with Green Tech’s mission. This leader ensures that students develop strong character, accountability, and pride in their school community. The Dean plays a key role in building consistency across classrooms and reinforcing expectations. This position is essential in creating an environment where students can thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement discipline policy and restorative practices
• Build strong, structured school culture
• Support teachers with classroom management
• Lead student incentives and behavior systems
• Manage attendance and family communication

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree minimum; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in urban schools, youth development, or school culture work strongly preferred

NYS Certification

• NYS Certification preferred
