Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), including every other weekend and holidays as needed. Float required across all facilities.

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population including observation patients, respiratory conditions, medical/surgical diagnoses, and end-of-life care. The RN will administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and support any necessary interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Provide patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.

Monitor patients' conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care strategies.

Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care decisions.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; previous charge RN experience preferred.

Must possess current BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.

Current RN license in hand is required.

Experience with telemetry and EKG interpretation is essential.
