Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend and holidays as needed.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle a diverse patient population, and effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Deliver patient care with a focus on safety and quality.

Monitor and assess patient health and progress, maintaining accurate records.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Utilize advanced telemetry equipment for monitoring patient vitals.

Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.

Float to other units as required based on census demands.

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Successful completion of a Pass Fail EKG exam during onboarding process.
