Registered Nurse Labor&Delivery Unit
MedStar Health Corporate Office
As a Registered Nurse in MedStar Health’s Labor & Delivery unit, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will monitor laboring patients, interpret fetal heart tracings, assist with vaginal and operative deliveries, and respond to obstetric emergencies. RNs collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and support staff, providing patient and family education, ensuring safe transitions to postpartum care, and contributing to quality, research, and continuous improvement initiatives in a mission-driven, patient-first environment.
