Fund Controller

A leading investment management firm is seeking an Assistant Fund Controller to join its Miami-based finance team. This role will support the fund finance team across fund accounting, treasury, financial reporting, investor reporting, and operational activities. The position offers strong visibility across multiple functional areas and is ideal for candidates looking to continue building their experience within a sophisticated investment management environment. Responsibilities Review and oversee fund NAV packages, quarterly financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules prepared by third-party administrators Review partner capital statements and investor reporting deliverables Coordinate annual fund audits with external auditors and internal stakeholders Support quarterly tax estimates and related filings alongside tax advisors and internal tax teams Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc management reporting Support investor relations initiatives, including due diligence requests and fundraising support Monitor fund liquidity, borrowing activity, capital calls, and distributions Review management fee calculations and carried interest waterfalls Oversee treasury-related activities and wire approvals Assist with regulatory, lender, and counterparty compliance requirements Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives Mentor and develop junior team members Qualifications 8–10+ years of private equity, alternative investment, or fund accounting experience Combination of public accounting and in-house/private fund experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, NAV reporting, and fund operations Experience working with fund administrators and external auditors Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred, but not required Advanced Excel skills required Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a resume for consideration today. #J-18808-Ljbffr Leeds Professional Resources
