Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1980 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:- 2 years of experience preferred.- Charge nurse experience preferred.- Oncology skills helpful, but not necessary.

Special Requests:- Block scheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details:- Adult patients ages 18 and older.- Common diagnoses/treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF.- Equipment includes VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.

Shift&Scheduling:- Policy recommends all staff work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.

Floating Requirements:- Floating per facility needs.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required
