Retail Sales - Accessories - Oak Park Mall

Responsibilities Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling using effective tools (text, social media). Build lasting relationships with customers. Provide the best service to customers on their terms. Give honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit. Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise. Work with the team to keep the department customer‑ready: filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning. Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts. Adapt to varied shifting hours and occasionally perform duties in other departments. Qualifications Excellent communication and people skills. Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented focus. Strong interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals. Ability to excel in a team environment. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organization and follow‑through. Flexibility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Physical ability to perform continuous movement 6‑8 hours per shift, including bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Pay Range $13.50 - $13.50 hourly. Commission varies: apparel, shoes, and accessories 3%–14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance 3%. Performance‑based incentives/bonuses may be available. Benefits Medical, vision, and dental coverage.
