Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care environment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,361 to $1,393 per week, with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: Days. This assignment takes place in a long-term care/nursing home setting and is travel - temporary.

Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a LTAC/long-term care setting.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and range-of-motion programs to support functional goals.
- Implement therapeutic modalities and interventions within approved protocols; monitor patient responses.
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate findings to the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with treatment planning, participate in care planning meetings, and support activities of daily living as directed.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance during all patient interactions.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in South Dakota or eligibility for SD licensure.
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (or approved equivalent).
- CPR/BLS certification required or as mandated by the supervising facility.
- LTAC or long-term care experience preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work the listed shift (Days) and participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Eligibility for temporary travel assignments and compliance with credentialing requirements.
