As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will support access screening activities, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable requirements. Inspect packages, freight, and personal property as directed by site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
