Tonkin Reconditioning Center is Hiring a UVI TechnicianThe Tonkin Reconditioning Center supports all Tonkin dealerships throughout the Portland Metro, providing vehicle reconditioning and Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) to ensure our inventory meets the highest standards before reaching our sales lots. As our operations continue to grow, we’re looking to add a dependable UVI Technician to our team.This role is ideal for someone with automotive knowledge who enjoys consistency, process‑driven work, and being part of a centralized operation that keeps multiple dealerships running smoothly. Accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency are essential in this role, as your work directly impacts vehicle quality, safety, and readiness for sale.UVI Technician Job ResponsibilitiesPerform Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) following Tonkin standards and proceduresAccurately document vehicle condition, needed repairs, and recommendationsConduct basic reconditioning tasks as assignedCoordinate with the reconditioning and service teams to ensure timely vehicle flowMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company policies, safety guidelines, and workflow processesUVI Technician Benefits and CompensationFlat-Rate of $23.00 to $31.00 per hour depending on certifications.
