About the Position

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with an average daily census of 19, caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Manage complex diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of a third patient assignment as census requires
• Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR for documentation and patient management
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and applicable major holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in GA or a Compact state, required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
• Ability to complete all compliance documents and core onboarding items within required deadlines
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or on-site

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with CRRT management in an ICU setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience managing high-acuity diagnoses such as cardiogenic shock or multi-organ failure
