About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: Georgia or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS prior to start Must-Have: - Experience with ventilated patients - Central line care/management - CVA/Acute Stroke management - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Post Operative Cardiac Surgery management - Post Neurosurgery management - Suctioning (ETT, NT) Description: The role requires a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. General diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, Cardiogenic shock, gastrointestinal bleeding, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and End Stage Renal Disease on CRRT. Applicants should be prepared for a patient ratio of 1:2-3 and possible floating within the facility as needed. The average daily census is 19 with up to 24 rooms available. Staffing and scheduling may result in a requirement to work every other weekend. The candidate must be flexible in accommodating pre-approved time off requests, adhering to holiday work expectations. Full compliance with onboarding and core item completion is required for timely start. Clinical screening will be conducted to ensure fit for the role before consideration for hire.
