Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN), BSN degree
• Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential in California
• Experience providing health assessments and care plans in educational settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers
• Skilled in emergency preparedness, communicable disease management, and mandated health screenings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive health services supporting access to education and promoting student well-being
• Serve as a health consultant to district staff, families, and community agencies
• Coordinate care for students with medical needs, including the development and implementation of individualized health care plans
• Perform mandated health screenings and assessments
• Assist with communicable disease management and emergency preparedness
• Act as a liaison between the district, healthcare professionals, and families
• Rotate between two campuses—providing services one day per week at each location

Role Highlights:

• Part-time schedule: 12 hours per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• School year appointment: August 19th – June 10th
• Caseload spans elementary and middle school students
• Interview conducted via Zoom for convenience
• Onboarding support with fingerprinting required prior to start
