Senior Secrets Management Security Analyst

Manage delivery of information and network security systems and technology services Resolve complex problems and lead implementations for system and network security technologies Develop testing plans to ensure implementation quality Coordinate and prepare reports of data security events and incidents Provide system and network architecture support for information and network security technologies Support business and technology associates with risk assessments and implementation of information security procedures, standards, and technologies Represent major upgrades and reconfigurations in change control Design and analyze vendor service mixes to meet business and information security requirements Maintain relationships with key vendors Lead initiatives to consolidate equipment and implement business relocations Determine and perform complex configuration changes Perform capacity analysis and recommend or implement capacity increases Serve as technical escalation for preventative maintenance results Supervise preventative maintenance Represent infrastructure security support in significant projects Perform complex operations and administration tasks Respond independently to level 3 and 4 change and problem requests Lead level 1 and 2 incident recoveries and root cause analysis Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role in access management, network security technologies, servers, networks, network communications, telecommunications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, hardware/software support, or other infrastructure services Experience providing top-tier support for 3 or more information security technology areas Technical security certifications highly preferred Hands-on experience with Secrets Management platforms such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault highly preferred Identity and access management (IAM, Active Directory/Entra ID) experience highly preferred Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, encryption and key management concepts, and secure application development practices highly preferred Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments highly preferred Experience with dynamic secrets, certificate management, PKI, Kubernetes and container security, and Infrastructure-as-Code highly preferred Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, and security monitoring platforms such as Sentinel or Splunk highly preferred Certifications such as HashiCorp Vault Associate, AWS or Azure security certifications, Security+, or equivalent highly preferred Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health office unless an accommodation is granted Ability to work first shift in the United States of America Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing information and network security systems, with a strong focus on risk assessments, incident response, and security architecture. Proficient in implementing security technologies and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
