Maintenance AssistantOpened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings make up this vibrant community and also encompass an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. Managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator. Trains other building staff, as needed, on basic troubleshooting of building systems and equipment. This position is for buildings that have 200+ units.This schedule includes:48 hours every two weeks; full benefits packageMonday, Wednesday, and every other FridayEvery other weekend rotationResponsibilities:Repairs and maintains physical structure and grounds. This includes the following:Repairs items found deficient by maintenance or requested by work ordersChanges filters and checks belts on air handle unitsChecks kitchen equipmentGreases, checks belts, and oils laundry equipmentHelps in Housekeeping as requestedAssists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.Maintains shop in a clean and orderly mannerRemoves snow from sidewalks and walkways and uses ice melt on sidewalks as neededTrims around bushes, trees, and sidewalksKeeps grounds safe and looking neat and attractiveProcesses work orders and performs other duties as assignedAssists with turnover of apartments for new residentsAll other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:One to three years experiencePreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDBenefit Overview:Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
