About This Role Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) to provide exceptional patient care while embracing their mission of holistic healing. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00/hour Location: Silver Spring, MD Facility: White Oak Medical Center Department/Unit: Intermediate Care Unit Schedule: Full-time, Night shift Sign-On Bonus: Not mentioned What Youll Do Educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Serve as role models to Level I nurses. Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice. Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
