Assistant Salesforce Administrator

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform.
• Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
• Help create and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and validation rules.
• Provide first-level support to Salesforce users, addressing data issues and access requests.
• Support data import/export tasks using tools such as Data Loader or Data Import Wizard.
• Assist with testing and deploying new features, enhancements, and third-party integrations.
• Document system processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to gather requirements and support business needs.
• Stay updated with Salesforce best practices and upcoming releases.
• Provide training and assistance to the team as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year of experience working with Salesforce in an administrative or support role.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce architecture, standard objects, and data management principles.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
