Friendly Connections, Inc. Location: Matawan, NJ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (40 hours/week) In person only Pay: $20.00 per hour
Friendly Connections, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey. We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is an in-office position where you will play an important role in supporting our administrative operations, staff, individuals receiving services, and their families.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answering and directing phone calls and emails
Assisting with new client and employee intake
Communicating professionally with individuals receiving services, families, support coordinators, and staff
Assisting with recruitment and hiring activities
Posting and managing job advertisements on online hiring platforms
Screening applicants and scheduling interviews
Helping maintain employee and client records
Assisting with onboarding paperwork and administrative compliance
Supporting our social media interns by helping coordinate content, schedules, and projects
Assisting with general office organization and administrative projects
Performing other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous office or administrative experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable learning new software and online systems
Experience with social media platforms is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player
