Neurocrine Biosciences
Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Account Specialist for the Jacksonville, Florida territory to drive product promotion and growth through strategic account management and physician engagement. The role involves managing relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, and payers while executing territory sales strategies and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive product acceptance through targeted education and strategic account management in assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, clinical staff, and key opinion leaders
- Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual communications to meet sales objectives
- Collaborate across internal functions including managed care, marketing, and patient access teams
- Identify and address territory-specific barriers to product success while managing promotional resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field plus 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience
- 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical, long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales experience
- Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic product experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with sales automation and business intelligence platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for frequent territory travel
- Reside within assigned geographic territory
