Registered Nurse - Postpartum/NICU

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed hours: 36.00 hours/week

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient care in a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.
