Full Time Nocturnist St Joseph's Yonkers, NY

Job Description

Join PPE'S  dedicated inpatient team serving the Yonkers community with excellence and compassion. We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our hospitalist program as a Nocturnist .

• Location: Yonkers, New York
\n
• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (12-hour night shifts)
\n
• Employment Type: Full-time 
\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during night hours
\n
• Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient management
\n
• Conduct necessary procedures including:\n
  \n
  • Central lines
  \n
  • Intubations
  \n
  • Arterial lines
  \n
  • Paracentesis / Thoracentesis
  \n
  • Code and rapid response team leadership
  \n
\n
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, consultants, and support teams
\n
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care with efficient documentation
\n

\n
• MD or DO with active New York State medical license
\n
• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\n
• Proficient in common inpatient procedures
\n
• ACLS and BLS certification required
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
\n
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
\n
