Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for night shift coverage starting from 10/19/2026. The role involves coordinating and delivering patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic surgical specialty unit, with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spine surgeries. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes and discharge readiness.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 pm 7:15 am, every other weekend and rotating holidays, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or one of the compact states by the day of clinical care. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience working in a registered nurse role in an acute care / inpatient hospital setting.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering patient care under physician supervision, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, conducting assessments, and ensuring infection control standards are maintained. Competency in all required skills must be completed annually.
