Our client in Essex County is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible, part‑time schedule while contributing to key financial processes in a collaborative office environment. Location: On‑site (Monday–Thursday options) Hours: Approximately 9:00/9:30 AM – 5:00/5:30 PM What would I be doing? Responsibilities Prepare and send weekly client invoices. Perform weekly cash reconciliations. Send collection notices and follow up with clients on past‑due balances. Process and manage accounts payable vendor bills. Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks. Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed. What would make me qualified? Qualifications Prior experience using QuickBooks required. Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working independently in a small office setting. Strong communication skills for client collections follow‑up. 2–3 days per week in the office (flexible scheduling Monday–Thursday). Office operates remotely on Fridays. Start time flexible between 9:00–9:30 AM. End time flexible between 5:00–5:30 PM.
