Gastroenterology Hospitalist

CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join its expanding and innovative gastroenterology program. This employed position within the nationally recognized CHRISTUS Health system focuses on inpatient consultative and procedural gastroenterology. The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of inpatient GI care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Dedicated hospital-based GI practice with strong inpatient procedural volume
Opportunity to help build and expand a growing gastroenterology service line

Responsibilities

Inpatient gastroenterology consult service
Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Management of complex GI disorders, GI bleeding, liver disease, and urgent inpatient consultations
